As President of our chapter, I am very proud that we are joined together in our nursing profession through scholarship, leadership, and as members of our Omicron Gamma chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Together,  we can collaborate to  increase our chapter's visibility in the region, achieve a new milestone for our chapter such as the STTI Key Award,  and continue to reach out to our new friends through our international community service project in Kenya.  

Since we will be working together,  be sure to update your profile with current contact information to receive emails about membership - wide meetings, leadership opportunities, inductions, and chapter activities and projects.  Consider  applying for a scholarship to continue your education, demonstrate your leadership skills by running for office, or by volunteering to work on a committees. 

Stay connected and stay informed.   Check the upcoming events on the chapter website and watch for my email blasts about important dates.   Mark your calendar to attend our  bi annual membership - wide meetings.  It  is a great way to connect with other STTI members. For example, our Fall membership meeting is held in conjunction  with the Tri-State Consortium in or near Philadelphia.  Here, you will have a unique opportunity to network with STTI leaders and  members from other chapters from across our geographic region.
