Welcome to Omicron Gamma Chapter's Website!


Wilmington University is a private, non-sectarian university based in northern Delaware. With campuses throughout the state, the university offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs, with total enrollment of over 20,000 students annually. Wilm U. is committed to being a university where respect is paramount and integrity guides our choices. Providing educational opportunity is the primary purpose of the university and responsiveness to community needs is key. 

Omicron Gamma is committed to fulfilling the university's mission, while providing assistance and a network to those in the nursing field. Our chapter consists of a wide range of students with a diverse background, located throughout the nation. We continuously strive to improve our chapter and become a pillar within the university's community.

December is AIDS Awareness Month

In 2018, 37,832 people received an HIV diagnosis in the United States and dependent areas.

An estimated 1.1 million people in the United States had HIV at the end of 2016.
Of those people, about 14%, or 1 in 7, did not know they had HIV.
